The Ministry of PUPR will make a tunnel in Curug Jompong to drain water from the Citarum river, Baleendah always flooding because Curug Jompong was hampered, "said Minister Basuki, as reported from pu.go.id, today (11/29/2016).
The problem at that location, said Minister Basuki occur obstacles that cause the water does not flow to Citarum river, it resulting in the water backflow. Initially, the Ministry PUPR will immediately cut off the cliff, but there is a site so it must conduct with the tunnel design so the site will not be disrupted.
"Research and Development Center of Water Resources (Puslitbang Air) already designed that, hopefully in 2017 we can budgeting of Rp400 billions, no later than 2018 is already finished," added Minister Basuki.
In addition to the tunnels, Minister Basuki said that PUPR Ministry will also make a diversion on Cisangkuy and Cieunteung polder to handle flood in Baleendah.
