Pelindo I Strengthens Work Quality by Implementing GCG

MEDAN - Pelindo 1 has re-socialized the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles in all aspects of the company's operations in this year. This is done to improve the quality of effective and efficient performance and provide value to shareholders and stakeholders.

"Service innovation is very crucial today, but the implementation of good corporate governance is necessary for the face of intense business competition in the future. Therefore, the socialization of GCG implementation becomes very important, to strengthen the internal compliance of Pelindo 1 on the principles of compliance," said M Eriansyah, Corporate Secretary of Pelindo 1, as reported in pressrelease.id (15/1/2018).

The socialization of GCG implementation for internal circles that took place on 4 - 20 January 2018 is expected to strengthen the company's commitment as an integrated, quality and value-added port services provider.

Pelindo 1 in every work activity, always refers to GCG principles such as; Transparency, Accountability, Responsibility, Independence and Fairness.

The Corporate Governance Guidelines (GCG), owned by Pelindo 1, currently consists of Manual Board, Reporting on Alleged Whistle Blowers, Code of Business Ethics and Code of Conduct and Guidelines on Handling Conflict of Interest.

This GCG Guide clearly manages all aspects of corporate management, including providing a definition of the Company's vision, mission and values.
