Denmark & Norway Participation in Improving Sea Infrastructure

JAKARTA - Malacca Strait has a very important meaning for the shipping sector in Indonesia. In accordance with the government's focus on developing infrastructure, Minister of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia Budi Karya Sumadi cooperation with companies from Denmark and Norway to play a role in building the transportation infrastructure of the sea in the Straits.
"Denmark and Norway have companies that dominate the world cruise. Therefore, we call upon them to build the Malacca Strait and in the field of shipping navigation," said Budi Karya Sumadi as reported from jpnn.com, today (28/11/2016).
Besides infrastructure development cooperation, Budi Karya Sumadi also issued a decision to create transport investments financing team. Moreover, the Ministry of Transportation will ask the state enterprises from Indonesia to cooperate with Denmark and Norway in order to manage the Malacca Strait.
All of it is meant for shipping in Malacca Strait can be run properly to defend the sovereignty and maintain the safety and security of shipping and preservation of the marine environment.
