Standard Chartered Bank Provide Working Capital for PT INKA

JAKARTA - Standard Chartered Bank will provide a working capital facility of USD 20 million to support railway production of PT Industri Kereta Api (INKA). This is part of the cooperation of both companies to encourage the growth of infrastructure in Indonesia.

Standard Chartered Bank CEO Rino Donosepoetro greatly appreciated the cooperation between the two companies. He explained that this is a tangible manifestation of the bank in supporting the national strategic program to encourage national economic growth.

"This is also in line with one of the bank's focuses on supporting sustainable economic and social growth through our capabilities," said Rino Donosepoetro, as reported from ivoox.id (15/8/17).

Another technical support which provided by the bank to INKA involves utilizing the bank's global footprint for strategic projects to provide safe, reliable, and affordable infrastructure for everyone to change people's lives and strengthen the economy.

This cooperation was welcomed by the Director of Finance and Human Resources of INKA Mohamad Nur Sodiq who considered that this is one step to build cooperation with international financial institutions. "We believe this cooperation can help improve the company productivity so as to accelerate the growth and development of national industry," concludes Nur Sodiq.
