KEMENPUPR Develop Tourism Infrastructure of Mount Bromo

JAKARTA - Mount Bromo tourist areas have now been signed as National Tourism Strategic Area (KSPN) Bromo-Tengger-Semeru in East Java Province. Hence, the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (KEMENPUPR) seeks to support the development of tourism infrastructure in the area through a variety of strategies.
One strategy to increase the number of tourists in the area KSPN Bromo-Tengger-Semeru partly by developing connectivity infrastructure. It is described by the Head of the Regional Infrastructure Development (BPIW) of PUPR Ministry, Rido Matari Ichwan
"For KSPN connectivity of Bromo-Tengger-Semeru, Juanda Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport will be developed and also operates trains on the routes of Bandung-Surabaya, Jakarta-Surabaya, Semarang, Surabaya, Jakarta-Malang, Yogyakarta-Malang and Jakarta-Kediri," said Rido Matari Ichwan as reported from infonawacita.com (30/01/2017).
PUPR Ministry also focusing the connectivity in the form of routine maintenance of the road Gempol-Bangil-Pasuruan-Probolinggo, road rehabilitation of Sidoarjo-Pandaan-Purwosari-Malang-Kepanjen and road rehabilitation of Probolinggo-Paiton-Situbondo. It also conducted a reconstruction of the road Gempol-Bangil-Pasuruan-Probolinggo and routine maintenance of the road boundary of Malang-Lumajang
Moreover, Rido also explained that KEMENPUPR also did the arrangement of buildings umbulan spring in Pasuruan, the development of Drink Water Supply System (SPAM), construction of landfills (TPA) in Malang, as well as the rehabilitation of 1000 hectares of irrigation system in Molek and 700 hectares secondary irrigation in Kedung Kandang, both located in Malang.
